Registrations were mailed home for fall/winter Religious Formation Classes. Please return your forms as soon as possible so planning can be made, books ordered and teachers recruited.We have had many teachers retire from St. Michael’s Religious Formation Fall/Winter classes this year. We need volunteer teachers/catechists for every grade level. It is the church community who is responsible for handing down our faith, which means all of us! You do not need to be a teacher to share your faith with a group of young people. Training, books and materials are provided for all teachers with easy lessons to follow.
Volunteers are needed to teach and share their faith with the young people of our parish. At least one teacher is needed for Grades 1, 2, 4, 5 ,6 ,9 and 10. Contact Wendy for more information @ 401-231-1340 or [email protected]Grades 1 and 2 meet on Sunday mornings, 9:15 am to 10:15 am.
Grades 3 to 8 meet on Monday evenings, 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm.
Grades 9 and 10 meet on Sunday nights, 6 pm to 7:45 pm, twice a month.

Religious formation classes
Children in first grade need to attend classes in order to receive the Sacrament of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist in second grade. If you have a child entering first grade in September and did not receive a registration form, call Wendy, 231-1340 ext. 3.
If you have a child in first grade in Catholic School, they do not have to attend classes until second grade.
The confirmation program is a two-year program. Students who are in 9th grade need to attend classes in order to receive the sacrament of Confirmation in 10th grade. If your teenager is in Catholic High School for 9th grade, they do not need to attend classes however they do need to attend classes in 10th grade. Please contact Wendy if your child will be attending Catholic High School for 9th grade. -

Every Christian community has the responsibility of passing on its Christian faith and experience to its children. The Christian community must, therefore, engage in a process of awakening and fostering in them a living and personal faith.
Our goal together as a faith community is for our young people to:- Learn Catholic beliefs and practices
- Hear the Good News
- Develop a relationship with God
To feel welcomed and valued as members of the Church Community.
